The Journey

One week. Four parks. Nothing rushed. The Signature Safari is our most-booked itinerary for a simple reason: it shows you the full range of northern Tanzania — elephants and baobabs, forest and flamingos, endless plains and the crater — at a pace that lets each landscape breathe.

The circuit runs clockwise from Arusha: a full day in Tarangire, a gentle morning in Lake Manyara’s groundwater forest, then west onto the Serengeti plains for two nights in the thick of it, closing with a dawn descent into Ngorongoro.

Choose your comfort level and we build the same route around it: characterful midrange camps in strong locations, or a luxury tier that upgrades every night without changing the wildlife.

Day 1

Arrive in Arusha

Arusha

Touch down at Kilimanjaro International, meet your guide, and settle into a garden lodge on the edge of Arusha. This evening: trip briefing over dinner, and an early night — the bush starts tomorrow.

Day 2

Tarangire — Elephants & Baobabs

Tarangire National Park

A full day along the Tarangire River among the largest elephant herds in northern Tanzania. Picnic lunch under a baobab; evening light on the swamps as buffalo file in to drink.

Day 3

Lake Manyara to the Highlands

Lake Manyara · Karatu

Morning in Manyara’s groundwater forest — blue monkeys, hornbills, hippos and, with luck, a lion draped along an acacia branch. Afternoon climb to the coffee farms of Karatu, with an optional Maasai community visit en route.

Into the Serengeti

Central Serengeti

Cross the Ngorongoro highlands and drop onto the plains that never end. Game viewing all the way to camp; keep your camera on your lap — the Serengeti rarely waits until you have unpacked.

Day 5

Serengeti — Predator Country

A dawn-to-dusk day in the highest big-cat concentrations in Africa. Optional balloon safari at first light. Your guide works the valley’s rivers and kopjes, staying long at sightings — this is why your vehicle is private.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Rim

Ngorongoro Conservation Area

One last Serengeti sunrise, then east via Olduvai Gorge to the crater rim. Arrive in time for the view at golden hour — 600 metres straight down into tomorrow.

Day 7

Crater Floor & Home

Ngorongoro Crater

Descend at first light into the caldera for the Big Five finale — with real chances of black rhino. Picnic by the hippo pool, then back over the rim and down to Arusha for your evening departure.
